About the role

  • People & Culture Specialist managing the employee lifecycle and HR processes. Supporting team leaders and enhancing workplace culture in a growing E-Commerce business.

Responsibilities

  • You provide comprehensive support to our team and managers across the entire employee lifecycle and act as their first point of contact.
  • You draft employment contracts, contract amendments, certificates, and all other relevant HR documents.
  • You independently manage the entire onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • You handle preliminary payroll administration and work closely with our external payroll provider.
  • You maintain and update our HR software (e.g., Personio) and carefully manage all personnel files.
  • You are responsible for the entire recruiting process – from scheduling and communications to applicant management, conducting interviews, and coordinating with headhunters.
  • You optimize and build HR processes and implement People & Culture projects from the initial idea through operational roll-out.
  • You design and facilitate inspiring team workshops on topics related to work culture, team values, leadership, and collaboration.
  • You establish a strong talent and development management system, nurture potential, support professional growth, and build sustainable learning and career paths.
  • You take responsibility for our occupational health and safety, developing, managing, and embedding all measures related to workplace safety and safety culture.
  • You support the team in daily office operations and organize internal team events to foster a positive working atmosphere.

Requirements

  • You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or a degree, ideally supplemented by a qualification as a HR specialist (Personalkauffrau/-mann).
  • You have initial professional experience in People & Culture and have worked in operational HR day-to-day tasks.
  • You are proficient in using the HR software Personio.
  • You handle payroll-related HR data routinely; experience in preliminary payroll accounting is a plus.
  • Ideally, you have basic knowledge of labor law – not required but advantageous.
  • You enjoy building new structures and establishing modern standards.
  • You combine strong conceptual skills with a genuine hands-on mentality.
  • You demonstrate strong communication skills, empathy, and a good sense for culture and people.
  • You enjoy working in a dynamic, digital environment and value close collaboration.
  • You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
