Responsibilities
Handle an average of 70 calls per day
Answer incoming inquiries regarding appointment scheduling and Erie services
Attend required trainings for Electronic Health Records (EHR)
Schedule appointments according to site-based guidelines
Update patient demographic and insurance information
Verify health coverage eligibility and enroll patients
Route calls administratively and maintain voicemail functionality
Assist with training new hires through call shadowing
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent required
One year of call center experience required
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
Ability to type a minimum of 25 words per minute
Customer service commitment with a focus on issue resolution and attention to detail
Proven reliability and attendance record
Experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
Illinois-issued driver's license or state ID required
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus
