About the role

  • Leading a nationwide team in Key-Account Management for Addiction Medicine in Germany. Collaborating on marketing strategies and optimizing sales activities for regional goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a Germany-wide team of Key Account Managers serving specialist physicians in opioid substitution therapy
  • Identify, plan and take responsibility for activities and measures to achieve national and regional sales and marketing objectives
  • Co-develop the national marketing and sales strategy in collaboration with the Promoted Gx Sales Directorate
  • Optimize return on investment; prepare budget reporting for Promoted Gx management
  • Convert revenue opportunities into results through sales, volume and market analyses and activity KPIs, and derive and implement clear strategies
  • Improve the effectiveness of the KAM team through intensive coaching and training
  • Continuously iterate customer engagement and the value proposition for target customers; work with Medical and Marketing to select appropriate initiatives
  • Expand the use of digital channels in the sales organization
  • Contribute to expanding stakeholder and network understanding; manage and optimize Key Account Management and define partnership projects with key accounts
  • Manage contract administration for direct pharmacy customers to optimize revenue and profit
  • Budget responsibility for the addiction portfolio with a focus on targeted measures in the key account area

Requirements

  • Degree in a natural science or business administration and/or certified pharmaceutical sales representative (per §75 AMG)
  • Fluent in German, good command of English
  • High willingness to travel (within Germany)
  • Solid experience in selling through a Share-of-Voice or Key-Account-based field force
  • Excellent team development and motivational skills; experience in training and coaching field sales staff
  • Strong affinity for digital channels and a pioneering attitude toward new field force developments
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, results orientation, and good planning and organizational skills
  • Basic numerical aptitude and data analysis skills in Excel
  • Experience in Key Account Management, strategic key account projects and contract management
  • Preferable: established contacts with key stakeholders in the market
