About the role

  • Area Sales Manager responsible for developing sales in the medical devices sector. Focused on both domestic and international markets with a strong emphasis on strategic growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop revenue in France and internationally across defined markets and territories
  • Manage and expand a client portfolio and a network of specialized distributors
  • Lead commercial and contractual negotiations
  • Structure and implement the commercial strategy and associated action plans
  • Coordinate activities with internal teams (Marketing, R&D, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Production)
  • Manage the inside sales team
  • Oversee sales tools and reporting, and contribute to the deployment of the commercial module of the new ERP

Requirements

  • University degree in business, management, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of successful international business development experience in the medical devices sector
  • Strong field experience, pragmatic approach, and results-oriented mindset
  • Fluent English required; knowledge of a third language is a plus
  • Strong negotiation skills, rigor, and ability to synthesize information
