About the role

  • Vendor Sales Manager coordinating key accounts and strategic partners in cybersecurity firm. Leading project planning and team development in an expanding international environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordination of defined key accounts and strategic partners within the vendor management area to ensure efficient processes
  • Strategic planning and prioritization of the team's tasks to achieve project goals
  • Promoting the professional development of team members through coaching and mentoring
  • Escalation point for the team on complex issues and decision-making
  • Monitoring compliance with deadlines and quality standards across all team activities
  • Establishing, expanding and maintaining business relationships with manufacturers/vendors
  • Execution of Go-To-Market activities
  • Close collaboration with other departments to align goals and resources
  • Responsibility for the continuous improvement of internal processes and workflows
  • Development and delivery of training programs to ensure the team is informed about up-to-date market and security requirements.

Requirements

  • A successfully completed degree or a completed commercial vocational training
  • Several years of practical experience in a comparable position
  • Knowledge of manufacturers/vendors in the IT sector, ideally in the cybersecurity field
  • Confident command of the German language and good written and spoken English skills
  • Structured way of working
  • Independent, self-responsible work style
  • Strong project management skills with a high level of responsibility and flexibility
  • Convincing presentation, communication and moderation skills (oral and written)
  • Confident use of MS Office programs, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Negotiation-ready presence and pronounced team spirit
  • Flexibility for significant travel activity
  • Experience in leading a team as well as promoting teamwork to ensure high service quality and achievement of objectives.
