Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for Porto employees on HR, benefits, and workplace questions.
Champion professionalism and inclusion, reinforcing company values in daily operations and events.
Lead local engagement, learning, and wellness programs; surface feedback to inform future strategy.
Strengthen communication and connection between Porto and global teams to build trust and transparency.
Oversee payroll inputs, benefits enrollment, and leave processes in partnership with vendors.
Maintain accurate HRIS data, statutory files, and required government reporting.
Localize and maintain policies and the Portuguese employee handbook.
Support immigration documentation, employee travel, and onboarding/offboarding logistics.
Partner with Workplace Operations on site logistics, seating, onboarding coordination, and office safety.
Manage local vendors and property partners; ensure a clean, safe, and well-supported workspace.
Provide light onsite IT coordination (equipment setup, troubleshooting).
Requirements
2–4 years in HR operations, People Ops, or payroll/benefits administration in Portugal
Familiarity with Portugal labor practices and statutory reporting
Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Portuguese
Strong organization and attention to detail; able to manage sensitive data with discretion
Comfortable working with global, distributed teams and external vendors
Familiar with HRIS and payroll systems
Service-oriented, practical problem solver with sound judgment
