Validate employee benefit claim forms and process claims under various benefit plans. Maintain eligibility records and inform employees on benefit coverage.
Responsibilities
Processes benefits enrollment and qualified status changes for employees and retirees while maintaining online benefits eligibility and coverage records.
Informs employees regarding benefit eligibility and coverage.
Transmits or arranges for correct benefit claim checks to employees.
Facilitates new hire orientation on a regular basis to explain benefit coverage and enrollment procedures.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and HR systems; PeopleSoft skills is preferred.
Ability to work independently with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain strict protocols of all confidential or sensitive information.
High School Diploma/GED is required.
Three to five years of experience is required.

- Front-loaded Paid Time Off: 128 to 208 hours (16 to 26 days) of Paid Time Off based on years of service, given at the start of each fiscal year. PTO may be prorated in year one based on date of hire.
- Extended Illness Bank: 8 hours (1 day) accrued per month which can be used for illness or injury after one day of Paid Time Off is taken.
