About the role

  • HR Assistant supporting various administrative processes and onboarding at a drug therapy center in Berlin. Responsible for payroll coordination, staff queries, and compliance tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage allocations in the externally outsourced payroll accounting across various workflows
  • Support the administrative onboarding process for new employees and participate in the hiring process
  • Monitor timely return of personnel documents and handle HR-related inquiries
  • Record employees' working time data in our software Vivendi
  • Coordinate internship applications and manage internship contracts
  • Monitor deadlines related to occupational health and safety trainings
  • Prepare employment references and statistics
  • Support or independently contribute to projects
  • IT coordination during cover/backup periods

Requirements

  • Completed commercial vocational training (e.g., clerk for office management, office communication clerk, administrative clerk, or equivalent)
  • Several years of prior experience and solid qualifications in HR management / personnel administration / labor law
  • Enthusiasm for diverse responsibilities and a willingness to learn
  • Strong communication skills, proactive, team-oriented and service-focused
  • Experience using Outlook, Excel and Word
