About the role

  • Sales Representative managing customer relationships and market opportunities in South Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Collaborating with marketing for sales strategies and participating in events.

Responsibilities

  • Proactive acquisition of new customers and maintenance of existing customer relationships in the sales territory of southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
  • Planning and conducting customer visits and business meetings to drive sales.
  • Identifying new market and sales opportunities within the sales territory.
  • Presenting products and services on-site at customers' locations.
  • Preparing quotations and conducting contract negotiations.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to develop sales strategies.
  • Maintaining the customer database and regularly reporting on sales activities.

Requirements

  • Degree or vocational training in business administration, sales, or a related field.
  • Professional experience in sales, ideally in public transport (ÖPNV) or rail.
  • Strong ability to identify and respond to customer needs.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Structured working style and independent, goal-oriented approach.
  • Confident user of MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within Germany and potentially internationally.
