About the role

  • CRE Relationship Manager responsible for developing and managing commercial real estate loans in New England. Engaging with clients and analyzing creditworthiness for loan proposals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of commercial real estate relationships in the greater New England area
  • Identify potential lending opportunities and cross-sell bank products
  • Underwrite new loan requests and analyze the property’s expected performance and borrower’s financial capacity
  • Prepare transaction proposals for approval
  • Negotiate with borrowers and complete loan documentation
  • Work with internal closing and external legal counsel on transaction documents

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 + years of experience in a commercial real estate relationship manager role
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial credit analysis, loan underwriting and account analysis
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills
  • Core competency in all compliance/Patriot Act provisions
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient with software programs (Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, Costar, Argus, Moody’s CreditLens)
