Responsibilities
Develop and manage a portfolio of commercial real estate relationships in the greater New England area
Identify potential lending opportunities and cross-sell bank products
Underwrite new loan requests and analyze the property’s expected performance and borrower’s financial capacity
Prepare transaction proposals for approval
Negotiate with borrowers and complete loan documentation
Work with internal closing and external legal counsel on transaction documents
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 + years of experience in a commercial real estate relationship manager role
In-depth knowledge of commercial credit analysis, loan underwriting and account analysis
Excellent presentation skills
Excellent verbal/written communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills
Core competency in all compliance/Patriot Act provisions
