About the role

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting: posting jobs, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Partner with managers to understand hiring needs and deliver top talent
  • Administer employee benefits including health, dental, vision, and retirement
  • Oversee annual insurance renewal process, working with brokers and vendors
  • Serve as primary contact for employee benefits questions and support
  • Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy in HR systems
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and employee handbook
  • Manage employee relations, performance management, and terminations as needed
  • Administer and oversee workers’ compensation claims and reporting
  • Act as a trusted resource and advisor for employees and managers
  • Lead employee engagement, culture, and retention initiatives
  • Support leadership with organizational planning and people strategies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of HR experience with strong recruitment and benefits administration background
  • Proven experience managing benefits, insurance renewals, and workers’ compensation
  • Solid knowledge of HR best practices and employment law compliance
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States / ability to complete Form I-9 and provide required documentation
