Provides analytical and administrative and project support to the compensation function including data collection and data analysis and compensation plan administration.
Provides guidance to managers, supervisors and employees through interpretation of compensation policies, procedures and salary administration guidelines.
Partners with departments to develop, create and update job descriptions and job profiles ensuring legal compliance.
Reviews new jobs, promotions/demotions and reclassification using market data for external competitiveness and internal alignment.
Coordinates and assists with workflow and business processes around service tracking and reporting system along with reporting and data.
May audit compensation and related data in HR systems for compliance with policies and regulations.
Assists on SOP development and participates in systems testing.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.
Relevant Experience (3 Years)
World At Work Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), or classes toward CCP preferred.
Experience in higher education preferred.
M.B.A. - Master of Business Administration preferred.
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) - World at Work preferred.
