About the role

  • Provides analytical and administrative and project support to the compensation function including data collection and data analysis and compensation plan administration.
  • Provides guidance to managers, supervisors and employees through interpretation of compensation policies, procedures and salary administration guidelines.
  • Partners with departments to develop, create and update job descriptions and job profiles ensuring legal compliance.
  • Reviews new jobs, promotions/demotions and reclassification using market data for external competitiveness and internal alignment.
  • Coordinates and assists with workflow and business processes around service tracking and reporting system along with reporting and data.
  • May audit compensation and related data in HR systems for compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Assists on SOP development and participates in systems testing.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.
  • Relevant Experience (3 Years)
  • World At Work Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), or classes toward CCP preferred.
  • Experience in higher education preferred.
  • M.B.A. - Master of Business Administration preferred.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) - World at Work preferred.
  • Concentrated Compensation Analysis (5 Years) preferred.
