  • Family Support Specialist at Family Access Center providing in-home intervention to strengthen families. Key responsibilities include evidence-based practices, case management, and community partner collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-home intervention to children and their families utilizing skill-based, evidence-based practices
  • Act as a resource, provider & advocate families to promote child welfare
  • Provide evidence-based interventions and case management support under contractual responsibilities
  • Utilize collaborative documentation
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with community partners
  • Maintain an appropriate level of direct contact with families per program requirements
  • Ensure professionalism through role modeling
  • Utilize own vehicle to travel to work destinations and transport youth as authorized
  • Report and document emergencies and critical incidents

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or an associate of arts degree in human services or related field
  • Two years of full-time experience in human services or related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of community resources and service providers
