Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly, ensuring a welcoming experience from arrival
Answer phone calls, resolve inquiries, and schedule appointments and exams using the Micrologos system
Verify and authorize consultations, exams, and procedures with health insurance providers
Assist with basic ophthalmic examinations under medical supervision
Perform daily cash reconciliation and manage payments/receipts
Keep the reception area organized and functional
Proactively support patient care (expediting exam scheduling and understanding patient needs) — active patient care
Requirements
High school diploma (completed)
Previous experience in an ophthalmology clinic
Excellent verbal and written communication; fluency in Portuguese
Strong organizational skills, agility, and attention to detail
Comfortable interacting with a diverse patient population and working under pressure
Responsible, proactive profile with a focus on collaborative growth
Prior experience in high-end/private medical clinics is a plus
Proactive and able to handle multiple concurrent tasks
Proficiency with basic computer tools such as Excel and clinical management systems
Availability for extended shifts on certain weekdays
