About the role

  • HR Intern supporting Sustainability team at WM during a 12-week paid program. Gaining real-world experience in HR operations and strategy while collaborating with experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Support HR Operations with daily activities including payroll exceptions and employee inquiries
  • Review 'People Pulse' for themes and make recommendations
  • Research emerging trends in AI and create a practical guide for HR
  • Conduct PTO audits and analyze trends
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to execute action plans
  • Produce monthly reports on absences and accommodations
  • Participate in strategic HR decision-making

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (accredited)
  • Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree (accredited) in a relevant field
