Senior Account Executive responsible for B2B sales and account management in retail sector. Positioning Wemolo as a strategic partner while driving growth and managing enterprise clients.
Responsibilities
Strategic new-business acquisition: You identify and win enterprise customers in the retail sector — from initial outreach and persuasive concept presentations and contract negotiation to closing and successful account expansion.
Customer centricity: You understand your customers' business goals — from Head of Expansion to C-level — and position Wemolo as a strategic partner. With tailored solutions and a confident presence at top decision-maker level, you support them in mastering complex challenges.
Account management: You develop long-term partnerships with decision-makers and manage your accounts strategically. You recognize potential — and realize it.
Target tracking & reporting: You work with clear goals and structures, have 100% transparency over your pipeline, and can translate pipeline status into forecasts and account plans and develop appropriate measures to reach your annual target. Together with the team, you take our retail sales to the next level.
Cross-functional collaboration: You work closely with your retail team and other areas such as SDRs, Marketing and Customer Success to optimize customer experiences and identify new market opportunities.
Requirements
Background: You bring at least 5 years of experience in B2B sales and have successfully acquired and managed enterprise customers. Your expertise covers complex sales processes in demanding market segments.
Experience: You excel through a partnership-oriented approach and build customer relationships that deliver real value. You master the entire sales cycle — from lead generation and proposal development to successful closing and sustainable customer retention.
Data-driven working: You are not only strong on the relationship level but also have your own data (pipeline, forecasting, etc.) under control. In addition, you have a corresponding understanding of analyses that you may, for example, run for your customers.
Communication: With a strong personal presence, you are able to convey even complex issues clearly.
Language skills: You have C2-level German and business-fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
Travel readiness: You hold a valid Class B driving license and are willing to travel regularly within Germany (approx. 10%).
