About the role

  • HR Coordinator role at Fintel managing employee onboarding and supporting HR operations. Engaging with a team to enhance the employee lifecycle and culture.

Responsibilities

  • You'll be learning and supporting on all aspects of HR operations.
  • This will entail using our various HR systems and MS Office.
  • You'll be communicating with new joiners, existing colleagues and external stakeholders and so will need to be a confident and clear communicator.
  • Assisting with onboarding new employees into our business - making sure they have a really positive start to their Fintel career
  • Supporting with offboarding processes as employees leave the business
  • Preparing offer letters, contracts and HR documentation with accuracy and care
  • Co-ordinating HR inductions for new starters to help them feel welcomed and informed
  • Maintaining employee records, ensuring data is accurate and kept up to date
  • Supporting payroll and benefits administration to help ensure smooth monthly processing
  • Acting as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing helpful guidance and escalating where needed
  • Supporting HR initiatives around wellbeing, engagement, and culture

Requirements

  • Have great attention to detail and pride yourself on accurate work
  • Are organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Enjoy being helpful and providing a great service to others
  • Have strong communication skills and enjoy working with people
  • Have some experience in administration, ideally within HR — but we’re also open to those looking to step into HR for the first time with the right attitude and willingness to learn
  • Experience using HR systems would be an advantage, but training will be provided
  • You're curious, hungry to learn and a good listener.
  • Educated to a minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade 5 / C or higher
  • A professional HR qualification isn't essential but if you're not already studying towards a CIPD qualification, we'd love it if you're up for the challenge of doing so (and will support you) as this will help you learn your craft and provide a great foundation for development.
