About the role

  • Senior People Partner aligning people initiatives with Upvest's business growth strategies. Managing performance appraisal systems and leading organizational development in a high-growth fintech environment.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic partner to the business, aligning people initiatives with overall company objectives.
  • Manage the end-to-end performance appraisal system, linking people performance directly to business outcomes.
  • Drive leadership excellence, designing and implementing leadership development programs.
  • Lead the evolution of job architecture and career frameworks for transparent progression paths.
  • Lead salary benchmarking initiatives and creation of competitive salary bands.
  • Consult with leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent challenges.
  • Utilize a data-driven approach to analyze organizational health and develop improvements.
  • Ensure compliance and provide guidance on employment law matters across Germany, the UK, and Europe.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior People Partner or HR Business Partner in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Expertise in performance management, with a track record of managing complex appraisal systems end-to-end.
  • Extensive experience building and implementing Career Frameworks and Job Levels in a high-growth or scaling environment.
  • Deep knowledge of salary benchmarking methodologies and experience building structured salary bands.
  • Proven experience in building leadership frameworks and nurturing a collaborative leadership culture.
  • Strong command of German employment landscape, with additional knowledge of UK and European regulations.
  • Advanced analytical skills for translating organizational health data into actionable strategies.
  • A consultative mindset with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to simplify complex people topics for various audiences.
  • A proactive, owner-oriented approach to problem-solving and results delivery.
