About the role

  • People Support Coordinator supporting HR operations for Lanes Group, a nationwide utility services provider. Role involves HR administration and enhancing employee experience in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Dealing with the HR administration and processes to provide support to the head office functions.
  • Undertaking the role of a People Support Coordinator to support the service delivered at all times.
  • Fulfil the role of People Support Coordinator ensuring that service standards are adhered to.
  • Dealing with the HR inbox and directing queries to the relevant people.
  • Answering emails and telephone calls and advising on basic HR issues.
  • Processing Change of Contracts and assisting with onboarding documentation.
  • Updating Cascade - HR Management System and other systems.
  • Liaising with Payroll/Training/IT to ensure new starters and leaver information is updated promptly.
  • Completing incoming references as required.
  • Applying for new employee references and chasing.
  • General administration support around the department.
  • Dealing with information of a confidential nature.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an HR Administration, or similar, role.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of HR processes and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • CIPD qualification (Level 3 or above) or equivalent (Desirable).
  • Familiarity with data protection regulations such as GDPR (Desirable).
