About the role

  • HR Support Apprentice providing essential administrative support to the People Team while completing a Level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship. Ideal for someone starting their HR career in an innovative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and compliant employee records in the HRIS
  • Prepare contracts, letters, and employment documentation
  • Handle sensitive employee information in accordance with GDPR
  • Support right-to-work checks and visa/immigration processes
  • Post job adverts, review applications, and coordinate interviews
  • Prepare offer documentation and ensure all onboarding actions are completed
  • Support payroll processing by ensuring accurate employee data
  • Assist with the administration of employee benefits
  • Respond to employee inquiries about payroll, benefits, and other HR-related matters
  • Assist in managing employee queries related to HR policies

Requirements

  • Willingness and ability to undertake the Level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage workload effectively
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new systems
  • Proactive, reliable, eager to learn, and customer service oriented
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Previous administrative experience (desirable)
  • Basic awareness of HR or employment practices (desirable)
