  • Assistant Store Manager supporting operations and team management at Free People store in Boston. Ensuring an engaging brand experience while meeting sales and operational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the selling, service, and operations of the store to achieve an engaging and inspiring environment
  • Acts as a brand ambassador and reflects the company values
  • Partners with the leadership team on the creation of an engaging visual experience that appeals to the FP customer
  • Creates selling initiatives that enhance the customer experience
  • Guides the team to prioritize customer service and styling recommendations to drive metrics and achieve store goals
  • Participates as the manager-on-duty by driving engagement in each zone
  • Supports the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent
  • Sustains daily operating standards by taking an active role in assessing sales forecasting and supporting scheduling and payroll
  • Collaborates with key partners to effectively execute shipment processing, restocking, and placement of product
  • Leads with an inclusive and people-first philosophy and engages employees at all levels

Requirements

  • 1+ years store leadership experience
  • Experience being a team player
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the store including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the organization
