HR Representative responsible for addressing HR matters and supporting the hiring process at Shaw Industries. Collaborating with management to ensure smooth HR operations.
Responsibilities
Assist associates with problems related to pay, benefits, FMLA, Workday, job changes, transfers, pay rates, attendance, etc.
Coordinate the hiring process by posting job openings in Workday, working with Recruiting to assist in coordinating interviews, extending offers, scheduling drug screens, completing all steps in the new hire process, scheduling new employee/plant orientation, and entering information into Workday.
Enter employee information into Workday and plant reports including new hire information, termination information, corrective action and job bid information.
Process associate specific data in Workday.
Generate HR data reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis for Managers and other support staff, as needed.
Update various means of HR communication on a weekly and as needed basis such as FDB HR topics, Plant TV PowerPoint Presentations, HR posting areas throughout the plants, etc.
Conduct meetings with associates to increase understanding and awareness of benefits and programs, changes in benefits for upcoming Open Enrollment periods.
Works closely with Temporary Staffing Services and with departments when temporary associates are needed.
Requirements
High School Diploma/GED required.
Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office package.
2+ years Clerical/Office experience.
Availability to work across multiple shifts/different hours of the day/night.
Experience in Human Resources preferred.
Experience in Workday and Workforce preferred.
Spanish (written and oral) skills are strongly preferred.
