About the role

  • Allround HR Advisor overseeing HR functions for production and office staff in a global company. Ensuring payroll accuracy and employee support while adhering to Dutch labor regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing in cooperation with ADP.
  • Process employee lifecycle changes (onboarding, offboarding, contract changes, leave, sickness).
  • Maintain and optimize personnel files and HR systems.
  • Safeguard data accuracy and proactively resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare and analyze HR reports (headcount, absenteeism, turnover, labor costs).
  • Act as a sparring partner to managers on HR policies, employee relations, and employment law.
  • Support performance and talent development processes.
  • Coordinate and monitor absence cases in line with the Dutch Gatekeeper Act (Wet verbetering poortwachter).
  • Serve as first point of contact for HR-related questions.
  • Ensure adherence to Dutch labor law.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (HBO level), preferably in HRM or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a broad HR role, ideally within an international organization.
  • Proven experience in payroll administration.
  • Experience with HCM/SAP and ADP is a strong plus.
  • Solid knowledge of Dutch labor law.
  • Experience with the Dutch Gatekeeper Act and absence management.
  • Strong understanding of HR systems and processes.
  • Comfortable preparing and analyzing HR reports.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
