Digital Key Account Manager managing strategic partnerships and marketplace growth across Asian markets for an established business.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Monitoring Execution: Develop joint-business-plans with our Strategic Partners for Asian marketplaces including Amazon Japan/Singapore, Lazada, Shopee, Tmall, JD.com, Rakuten and other regional platforms
Track and Measure our Partner performance to ensure we are on track, meeting objectives and delivering against plan. Good knowledge of digital marketing is key in order to be able to objectively review performance and make recommendations
Facilitate Sharing Across the Business: Ensure our Partners have access to brand assets, content refreshes, product strategy and insights in order to help drive their businesses forward.
Monitor Competitive Landscape: and implement strategies to gain market share
Channel Strategy & Execution: Continually evolve our marketplace strategy across the Asian market, including social commerce such as Douyin and on platform social tools. Establish potential expansion plans and work with partners to execute
Working With Our Export Team: To share learnings, build playbooks and work with them to optimise our joint business plans with Distributors
Reporting Lines: Reporting into the Commercial Director, USA and Global Digital with dotted lines to the Commercial Director UK, Europe and Rest of World
Conversion Optimisation: Tracking our presence on the platforms, ensuring we are meeting algorithm best practice and working with our partners to optimise conversion opportunities
Merchandising: Working with our partners on merchandising tactics, promotional activities and product assortments.
Reporting: Monitor core KPI’s, report against performance and forecasts, build out insight and analysis program of work to continually improve. Deliver real-time actionable insights and implement results.
Budget Management: Advise on, track and work closely with our finance team to ensure we are accurate with forecasts and performance metrics to maximise on ROI.
Requirements
**We’d love you to have **
Substantial marketplace management experience with a strong focus on Asian marketplaces
Mandarin and English proficiency
Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth through digital channels
Deep understanding of major Asian marketplace dynamics, policies, and best practices
Experience managing key account relationships and strategic partnerships
Strong knowledge of Asian consumer behaviour and regional market nuances
Proficiency with major marketplace platforms and their seller tools
Strong analytical skills with experience
Understanding of digital marketing principles
Experience with inventory management systems and CRM platforms
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for data analysis and reporting
Confident working in a multi-language, international environment and presenting to Senior Stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and numeracy
Ideally experience or a personal interest in the health and wellbeing sector
