About the role

  • Employee Relations Leader advising on HR issues like misconduct and compliance. Overseeing investigations and representing Marsh before regulatory bodies in the Pacific region.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and counsel to HR colleagues and senior management across the Pacific region on a wide range of employee relations issues including misconduct, performance management, industrial relations, and legal compliance
  • Oversee and conduct investigations into employee complaints such as discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, partnering with external legal counsel as needed
  • Act as Marsh’s representative in matters before the Fair Work Commission and other regulatory bodies, managing conciliations and arbitrations

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification with 7+ years of employee relations experience, including managing complex investigations and issue resolution
  • Strong knowledge of local employment and workplace laws in the Pacific region
  • Excellent communication, writing, presentation, and Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to present complex employment concepts to diverse audiences
