About the role

  • Talent Acquisition Specialist at Megaport enhancing recruitment in a growing tech company. Focused on collaboration and creating positive candidate experiences in Brisbane.

Responsibilities

  • Spend time in our Brisbane office to stay connected to our team, culture, and the buzz of what’s happening.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment across a mix of roles, helping us grow with the right people at the right time.
  • Source talent in creative and thoughtful ways – using networks, outreach, and great conversations.
  • Work closely with hiring managers, supporting them with insights and helping them navigate the hiring process.
  • Create a smooth, friendly, and memorable candidate experience at every step.
  • Keep our processes tidy and organised, from ATS updates to contracts and onboarding support.
  • Provide support, guidance, and knowledge-sharing to members of the TA team, helping build confidence and capability.
  • Contribute to a strong team culture by sharing best-practice recruitment approaches, tools, and insights with the wider TA team.
  • Share ideas that help us improve and evolve our recruitment processes, enhancing candidate experience as we grow.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of end-to-end recruitment experience, and the confidence that comes from helping a range of teams find great people.
  • Collaborative and friendly - you’ll enjoy being part of the HQ team, sharing ideas, and contributing to our culture.
  • A natural relationship-builder who enjoys getting to know teams, understanding their needs, and finding great people who fit.
  • Someone who can work independently when needed, make thoughtful decisions, and bring a calm, steady presence when things are moving quickly.
  • Comfortable switching gears and adapting as priorities evolve - we’re growing, so things can shift in the best possible way.
  • Organised and reliable, with a knack for keeping things moving smoothly behind the scenes.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to be concise and effective when collaborating across global teams.
  • Passionate about creating a positive candidate experience and representing Megaport with warmth, curiosity, and energy.
  • Actively invests in supporting and developing team members, helping lift overall capability within the TA function.
