Responsibilities

  • Support the daily operations of the store while assisting in team supervision
  • Lead a group of associates, drive sales performance, and ensure an outstanding customer and donor experience
  • Demonstrate the DGR guiding principles
  • Ensure the entire location is clean, organized, and filled with fresh product
  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • Use available data to meet/exceed expected metrics
  • Create a dependable and stable work environment
  • Assist with recruiting and selecting potential employees
  • Evaluate employee’s performance and provide positive coaching
  • Train and cross-train employees on processes set by Goodwill to maximize production
  • Maintain compliance with administrative and safety procedures

Requirements

  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (retail preferred)
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends
  • Reliable transportation and commitment to a drug-free workplace
  • Comfortable standing, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs. regularly
