About the role

  • Account Manager overseeing commercial operations and logistics at LyondellBasell. Focused on pricing, production scheduling, and client support in the chemical industry.

Responsibilities

  • Masterbatch Quotation: Assess raw material price indicators based on the ICIS table; evaluate Total Variable Cost (CTV) using the CTV Query spreadsheet; assess Contribution Margin (CM1).
  • Quotation of PE, PP and PB-1 resins via direct import and resale: Perform landed cost simulation together with the International Trade team; define contribution margin and resale selling price.
  • Production Scheduling: Define quarterly consumption forecast for masterbatch and resale products; evaluate inventory balances; assess production sequencing.
  • Logistics: Plan and manage FOB and CIF freight; consolidate shipments.
  • Credit Limit Assessment: Analyze order values in the system.
  • Prospecting New Clients and/or Products: Present LyondellBasell and its product portfolio.
  • Technical Support: Deliver training in person or via videoconference on product functionality and application.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fields
  • Experience in Commercial/Sales area
  • Technical knowledge of polymers, masterbatch, and compounds
  • Computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
