Responsibilities
Responsible for revenue growth and market development in the assigned sales territory
Identify, analyze, and develop new markets, customer segments, and application areas for our sensor solutions
Manage and expand existing customer relationships as well as actively acquire new customers
Present and position the industrial product portfolio to customers and distribution partners
Advise customers on selecting appropriate products and solutions
Plan and conduct customer visits, trade shows, and conferences, and monitor market and competitor developments
Prepare, follow up on, and close quotations as well as conduct price and contract negotiations
Work closely with internal departments such as Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Engineering
Maintain sales and project data as well as perform regular forecasting and reporting
Requirements
Completed degree in a business or technical discipline, or an equivalent qualification
Several years of professional experience in industrial sales or business development, ideally in sensors and electronic components
IT skills: confident use of standard MS Office applications and ideally experience with SAP
Language skills: excellent German and English, both written and spoken
Willingness to travel: readiness for frequent travel (approx. 75–80%)
