About the role

  • Business Development Specialist driving new business and growth initiatives for GPiLEARN+, a digital learning platform. Engaging with clients to deliver solutions and achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Source, build, and manage a strong personal sales pipeline.
  • Identify new logo opportunities across targeted industries and regions.
  • Execute the full sales cycle—from lead generation to proposal, demo, negotiation, and closing.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Deliver high-quality product demonstrations and articulate solution value clearly and confidently.
  • Develop compelling proposals, presentations, and tailored solution recommendations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to prospective clients, understanding their technical training, LMS, and workforce development needs.
  • Build strong relationships with decision‑makers, executives, and technical leaders.
  • Collaborate closely with Service Delivery, Commercial Leadership, Marketing, and Product teams.
  • Maintain post‑sales communication to ensure satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities.
  • Help shape go‑to‑market strategies, new industry penetration plans, and channel partnership opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data including leads, contacts, opportunities, and forecasts.
  • Participate in regular sales reviews and pipeline meetings.
  • Stay current on GPiLEARN+ product capabilities, LMS features, content libraries, and integration opportunities across GP Strategies’ offerings.
  • Travel to customer sites, trade shows, and industry events as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ experience in a commercial or related field, or 8+ years of sales/marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated success in professional B2B sales—experience with product + service sales preferred.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with confidence in delivering demos to technical audiences.
  • Experience selling into Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Asset Management, or heavy industry is highly preferred.
  • Background in eLearning, Energy, SaaS, industrial training, or technical solutions is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities, work under pressure, and thrive in a collaborative environment.
  • Self-starter with strong analytical, planning, and relationship‑building skills.
