About the role

  • develop and provide best in class HR solutions, tools and consultation to help our teams achieve business goals and positively impact the employee experience
  • coach, mentor and manage regional HR Generalists as it relates to HR matters as needed
  • serve as a point of contact for employees and leaders in the organization
  • lead efforts to maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • collaborate with Talent Acquisition and regional leaders to deliver effective recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes
  • proactively design and implement systems and programs that improve processes
  • oversee investigations of employee concerns
  • consult on budget and strategy with the Director of People Services
  • contribute to special projects that advance departmental goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or related field preferred
  • 8+ years of HR experience, including 2+ years in HR leadership
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS (Workday preferred) and Microsoft Office
  • Expertise in federal and state labor laws and employee relations
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality
  • High integrity, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently
  • Collaborative team player with a positive, field-first attitude
  • Safety awareness and willingness to wear PPE when visiting field locations
