About the role

  • Corporate Human Resources Business Partner overseeing HR activities and associate relations for hotel management company. Requires significant HR experience and expertise within fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

  • Managing, assessing, and reviewing all human resources activities including compensation, work environment, associate relations, unemployment, worker's compensation
  • Consulting to leadership and management on human resources-related issues
  • Analyzing and reviewing statistical data to identify turnover and retention causes
  • Developing recommendations/improvements to management regarding employment policies, processes, and practices
  • Supporting new hotel and exiting hotel transition activities through due diligence and integration processes
  • Advising and recommending appropriate compensation actions/adjustments to attract, retain and motivate employees
  • Conducting impromptu one-on-one training during site visits

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar discipline or related experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ progressive Human Resources leadership experience
  • Demonstrated success in all Human Resources functional areas within a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in a multi-unit and/or multi-state environment
  • Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, EEO, OSHA, COBRA, etc., and understanding state laws differ from federal laws
  • Experience with FLSA, Title VII issues, and payroll administration
  • Proven ability to apply excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate and resolve issues and influence without position authority
  • Proven ability to function as a team player with a high degree of independence and credibility
  • Proven ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and integrity with sensitive information
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of information technology, including hardware and software applications, used in the Human Resources function
  • ADP Workforce Knowledge a plus but not required
