About the role

  • Account Manager responsible for B2B sales and customer engagement at Ergotopia, an E-Commerce startup. Supporting customers throughout the sales cycle and fostering long-term relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Sales cycle: You guide customers through the entire sales process — from initial contact and product pitch to proposal preparation, closing, and long-term account management.
  • Inbound sales: You handle incoming customer inquiries in a structured manner and convert them into successful projects through well-founded consultative advice.
  • Outbound leads: You independently generate new leads, develop targeted outbound strategies, and continuously expand your customer base.
  • Pipeline development: You build a reliable sales pipeline and increase your closing rate through consistent follow-up and targeted insights.
  • Customer retention: You cultivate sustainable relationships and position yourself as a trusted point of contact throughout the entire customer lifecycle.
  • Process optimization: You identify areas for improvement and contribute your own ideas to further develop our sales processes.

Requirements

  • You have initial experience in B2B sales, preferably in a consultative environment or with complex/technical products.
  • Your field of study or professional background is secondary — what counts is your motivation and passion for sales.
  • Ideally, you have experience with CRM systems, adapt quickly to new tools, and acquire product knowledge in a structured and efficient way.
  • You impress in customer interactions with clear communication, active listening, and a confident presence — including on the phone.
  • You work in a self-organized manner, stay focused when handling multiple inquiries, and keep an overview of your sales pipeline.
  • You have excellent spoken and written German as well as good English skills.
