About the role

  • Account Manager for Life and Health Insurance focusing on developing business relationships and selling insurance products. Role involves strategic selling with licensed intermediaries in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Help serve, prospect for, solicit, and develop and maintain business relationships with members and clients via licensed intermediaries
  • Sell life and health insurance products and services based on member/client needs and current strategies and practices
  • Focus on individual insurance, group insurance, retirement savings plans, insurance brokerage, segregated funds, travel insurance, and claims settlements
  • Develop and maintain important business partnerships with individuals, businesses, associations, and groups for product and service satisfaction
  • Drive results by helping achieve sales and business development objectives
  • Work with clients with complex, diverse needs and communicate effectively to understand their needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
