Responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity to be one of the early team members to join the Bright New York team.
The Senior Account Manager, Events will work across two of our key clients to activate their partnerships with a focus on Events & Hospitality.
You will be expected to add real value to our client’s business.
You will plan, create and activate a events and experiences designed for B2B & B2C clients and projects.
You will also have the chance to work with the London team to support the activation of global projects in North America.
The position is based in New York, USA with domestic & international travel.
You will be required to come into the office 3 days a week to be with the team.
A key task will be ensuring that you are always one step ahead of the client.
You will need to have a proactive client mindset, anticipating client needs, adding strategic value and ensuring a consistently positive client experience.
Ensure compliance with client and Formula 1 operational standards, venue regulations, health & safety requirements, and brand guidelines; escalate operational issues for rapid resolution.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, including transport, hotels, and venues, ensuring smooth coordination and cross-functional alignment.
Requirements
4–5 years’ experience in global VIP events and experiential programs (sports experience preferred).
Proven ability to create and deliver seamless, bespoke end-to-end experiences across multiple international markets, including post-event reconciliation.
Exceptional operational skills in detailed event planning, project management, and cross-functional communication.
Understanding of sponsorship activation within the wider marketing and commercial context.
Strong client management and relationship-building skills; highly sensitive to cross-cultural nuances and emotional intelligence in high-pressure environments.
Adaptable, resilient, and capable of navigating ambiguity in fast-paced live-event settings.
Experience in Formula 1 or other sports industries is advantageous but not mandatory.
On-site live-event experience with hands-on delivery and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to adhere to corporate processes, policies, and brand guidelines.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and travel domestically and internationally; international experience and knowledge of a foreign language are a plus.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Microsoft Project is advantageous
