About the role

  • Business Development Manager focused on building relationships with restaurants in Bordeaux. Role involves prospecting, presenting services, and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new commercial relationships with restaurant partners, both by phone and in the field.
  • Maintain a strong daily calling cadence (cold calling) to continuously feed your prospect pipeline.
  • Be present in the field at least three days per week to meet restaurateurs, identify new opportunities, and strengthen local relationships.
  • Present Deliveroo’s services clearly, convincingly, and professionally.
  • Manage commercial negotiations end-to-end and close identified opportunities quickly.
  • Achieve monthly signing targets and keep your CRM/lead list up to date to facilitate follow-up and re-engagement.
  • Cover multiple prospecting zones across the region, ensuring a regular presence in each territory.
  • Provide post-signature follow-up to ensure partner satisfaction and performance on Deliveroo.
  • Provide regular reporting of your commercial activities to your manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (equivalent to Bac+3/4) in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in selling products or services.
  • Previous field sales/prospecting experience (ideally in restaurants or retail) and comfortable meeting merchants in person.
  • Enjoy direct contact and can adapt your face-to-face pitch to persuade and build rapport quickly.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of modern sales and marketing techniques.
  • Good knowledge of the meal delivery market and its competitive landscape.
  • Valid driving license (Category B) required.
