About the role

  • Business Development Manager at CEVA Logistics identifying and developing customer opportunities for global supply chain solutions. Driving sales growth through market analysis and team management.

Responsibilities

  • To identify, analyze and develop business opportunities in order to bring about new business, maintain existing business and penetrate more business with an existing customer.
  • To seek for new customers whose profile match the strategy defined by VN GM sales
  • To identify sales opportunities, to obtain sales leads and coordinate with overseas network to gain new business
  • To develop market share with existing customers
  • To achieve the number of prospect visits and client’s visits defined by GM Sales
  • To create competitive offers to such prospects with the support of Sales Assistant
  • To maintain CRM accurate constantly: interlocutors, meetings reports, quotations, traffic
  • Weekly reporting to GM Sales under agreed template
  • To complete the committed budget by developing business with the identified targets
  • To protect the company’s benefit by strictly complying all policies, regulations.
  • To cooperate with other related departments/ divisions during performing the assigned job.
  • To study the market inclusive, but not limit of competitors, carriers, manufacturers to be updated market trends, fluctuation, changes.
  • To handle sales leads and coordinate with JP network to gain new business and agree on common targets to develop.
  • To animate monthly calls with CEVA JPN on mutual developments and greed verticals to focus on
  • To complete the assigned job when required
  • To report to direct manager or higher levels when required
  • Ensure and monitor team compliance to the CEVA’s Code of Conduct and Company’s regulations
  • Ensure team understanding and implementation on CEVA’s Value in daily work behaviors
  • Plan and monitor team performance including give coaching and counselling needed to deliver expected outcomes
  • Plan and monitor team development together with HR Division
  • Ensure updated Job Description availability for the team by coordinating with HR Division
  • Ensure all changes in Department / Section socialized properly to the team
  • Participate in the set-up and follow-up of internal standard procedures to enhance productivity and transparency
  • Maintain acceptable Health, Safety and Environmental risk levels in his/her area of responsibility
  • Ensure the compliance with applicable legal requirements

Requirements

  • Japanese mother tongue with strong command of English language
  • College or University Certificate, Major in Logistics, Supply Chain, Foreign Trade, Marketing or Business Administration is preferable
  • Having experiences in import and export, freight forwarding or shipping lines
  • Having experiences in account management managerial and/or customer relationship management experience
  • Strong organizational skills, self-starter and self-motivated
  • Good in communication and negotiation
  • Able to work independently or in group
