About the role

  • Executive, People Operations managing HR functions in Malta. Supporting employee lifecycle processes and enhancing engagement and development initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Process and maintain accurate payroll changes, ensuring updates are reflected correctly.
  • Maintain and update employee records in line with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Prepare and manage employment contracts and onboarding documentation to ensure a smooth employee experience.
  • Coordinate and support training programmes, personal development initiatives, and HR-led learning activities.
  • Assist in managing employee relations matters, helping to foster a positive and inclusive workplace environment.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and standard operating processes.
  • Respond promptly to HR queries and provides clear, helpful guidance to employees and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to HR engagement initiatives, team-building activities, and wellbeing programmes that strengthen organisational culture.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of local payroll systems
  • Direct experience in applying and renewing work permits
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial and administrative tasks
  • Familiarity with employment legislation and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS tools
