About the role

  • Apprentice Team Leader in community care focusing on developing leadership skills. Managing Support Workers and enhancing service quality post-apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

  • Develop leadership skills through 'duty' and being the first point of contact for Support Workers
  • Take the lead on a key service area, e.g., medication and Equality & Diversity
  • Complete the Team Leader Level 3 apprenticeship during the first 12 months
  • Line manage a team of Support Workers/Lead Support Workers after completing the apprenticeship

  • Is willing to participate in training and development programmes
  • Has the ability to work flexibly to meet the demands of the service
