About the role

  • Talent Acquisition Specialist recruiting and onboarding exceptional talent for Academies of Math and Science. Support the mission of AMS through full-cycle recruiting across all campuses.

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting: job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide tailored recruiting strategies
  • Develop and execute outreach plans to build diverse candidate pipelines
  • Maintain clear, timely, and supportive communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal hiring regulations
  • Represent AMS at hiring events and networking engagements
  • Contribute to employer branding and talent marketing initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2–5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS); Workday experience a plus
  • Knowledge of employment law and best hiring practices
  • Passion for education and commitment to equity and inclusion
  • Experience recruiting in education or nonprofit sectors preferred
  • Demonstrated success with social media recruiting and brand engagement
