About the role
- Talent Acquisition Specialist recruiting and onboarding exceptional talent for Academies of Math and Science. Support the mission of AMS through full-cycle recruiting across all campuses.
Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruiting: job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide tailored recruiting strategies
- Develop and execute outreach plans to build diverse candidate pipelines
- Maintain clear, timely, and supportive communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Ensure compliance with state and federal hiring regulations
- Represent AMS at hiring events and networking engagements
- Contribute to employer branding and talent marketing initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS); Workday experience a plus
- Knowledge of employment law and best hiring practices
- Passion for education and commitment to equity and inclusion
- Experience recruiting in education or nonprofit sectors preferred
- Demonstrated success with social media recruiting and brand engagement
