About the role

Responsibilities

  • Process routine employee transactions in SuccessFactors, including new hires, rehires, transfers, job changes, terminations, and data corrections, following documented procedures
  • Enter and update employee information such as job details, organizational assignments, employment status, effective dates, and basic personal data
  • Support future‑dated and back‑dated changes as required, ensuring records align with approved documentation
  • Maintain organized and complete employee records, ensuring required approvals and supporting documentation are on file
  • Review data for completeness and accuracy prior to submission or approval
  • Identify obvious data inconsistencies or missing information and follow up with the necessary parties to resolve
  • Support periodic data audits and clean‑up activities as directed by the HR Systems team
  • Adhere to established data standards, naming conventions, and governance practices
  • Receive and process HR data requests through the ticketing system or intake process
  • Act as a point of contact for basic HR data inquiries from HR, HCM and Payroll
  • Escalate non‑standard, complex, or system‑related issues to senior team members with appropriate details and documentation
  • Support testing activities for system updates by validating data or completing assigned test cases
  • Coordinate with HCM, Payroll, and HR teams to ensure employee data changes are completed accurately and on time
  • Follow defined handoffs and timelines to support payroll processing and downstream system updates
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal stakeholders regarding status and completion of requests
  • Follow documented procedures and checklists for HR data processing
  • Flag recurring issues, unclear instructions, or process gaps to the HR Systems team
  • Assist with updating job aids or reference materials as processes evolve

Requirements

  • Post‑secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in HR administration, data entry, or HR operations support
  • Experience working with HR systems or databases (SuccessFactors experience is an asset)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and meet deadlines in a structured environment
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Exposure to SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
  • Experience supporting payroll‑related data changes
  • Experience working in a shared services or ticket‑based support model
  • Familiarity with HR documentation and record‑keeping requirements
