About the role

Responsibilities

  • Drive Growth: You will spearhead new sales of our three product families in Chemical & Workplace Safety, Product Safety & Stewardship, and Supply Chain & Sustainability within your designated territory (Japan + rest of APAC).
  • Generate Pipeline: Build a self-generated pipeline and revenue using creative and personalized outreach, strategic market mapping, and leveraging your network.
  • Own the Sales Cycle: You will manage the sales process from prospect discovery through deal closure, leveraging our industry experts to exceed revenue targets mostly through new logo opportunities and some cross-sells into existing clients.
  • Engage and Expand: Initiate and lead conversations with potential clients, aligning our cutting-edge solutions with their strategic goals to foster strong, lasting partnerships.
  • Consultative Selling: Collaborate with industry experts to develop proposals and manage product trials, ensuring alignment with client needs and industry standards.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of success in enterprise sales with a track record of quota achievement as an individual contributor.
  • Proven success closing five- to six-figure deals using a consultative selling approach, with a focus on self-sourcing and developing new business opportunities.
  • Demonstrated hunter mentality with the ability to proactively build and manage a robust pipeline through strategic prospecting and outbound engagement. Proficiency in pipeline management and sales activity tracking using tools like Salesforce.com, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong or similar CRM and prospecting platforms.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted, productive relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Native level proficiency in Japanese with at least high business level English. Proficiency in an additional APAC language (Korean, Chinese, etc.) would be a plus.
