Account Manager driving sales for a global telecom provider in the Wholesale division. Focused on internet connectivity services, strategic planning, and client relationship management.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets and objectives to drive volume sales of internet technology services such as DIA and BIA.
Identify new business opportunities and upsell existing services to maximize revenue from strategic carrier accounts.
Lead negotiations for pricing, and contractual terms, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes while maintaining compliance with company policies.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to drive sales strategies and stay ahead of the competition.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to drive business growth and customer loyalty.
Coordinate with internal teams such as product management, technical support, and billing to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate and timely reports on account performance, sales pipeline, and strategic initiative
Requirements
**Experience**:
Applicants should possess a minimum of five to seven years of relevant experience in accordance with skills we have highlighted, along with a proven track record of selling into Tier 1 and Tier 2 global telecom carriers.
Extensive experience in wholesale telecommunications selling, especially selling global internet products.
Demonstrable success in managing complex negotiations and closing high value contracts.
Strong understanding of the operational and commercial models within the wholesale telecom industry.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, managing multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
Proficiency in using CRM tools to track leads, manage customer interactions, and maintain accurate sales records.
**Industry Knowledge and Strategic Thinking:**
Comprehensive understanding of internet technologies including DIA, BIA, FWA and Satellite.
In-depth knowledge of the global telecom marketplace, with an emphasis on Tier 1 and Tier 2 carrier dynamics.
Strong contacts within the Tier 1 and Tier 2 carrier community, with an existing network of strategic relationships is desirable.
