About the role

  • Build Eventual's engineering team during a critical growth phase; work directly with founders and engineering leadership to identify, attract, and close technical talent
  • Full-cycle recruiting for 8+ engineering hires across multiple technical disciplines over 6 months
  • Source candidates through creative outreach, technical communities, and existing networks
  • Screen and qualify candidates for technical depth, cultural fit, and alignment with our fast-paced startup environment
  • Manage candidate experience from initial contact through offer negotiation and onboarding
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to refine job requirements and interview processes
  • Track and report on recruiting metrics, pipeline health, and time-to-hire improvements

Requirements

  • 3+ years technical recruiting experience at a startup (Series A-C companies preferred) and/or a technical agency
  • Technical fluency to evaluate engineering candidates and speak credibly about complex technical roles
  • Proven sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, technical communities, and the latest AI tools
  • Experience with Ashby ATS and a data-driven approach using recruiting analytics and pipeline management
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with both candidates and internal stakeholders
  • Scrappiness and willingness to learn/adopt AI tools in the recruiting process
