Sales Support processing Requests for proposals for Employee Benefit insurance for groups 50-99 lives. Liaising with internal Sales Executives and managing a group inbox.
Responsibilities
This role’s primary function is the first point of contact for processing Requests for proposals from external brokers.
Working closely with internal Sales Executives the role is the overall pre-sale process for Employee Benefit insurance for new and existing business for 50-99 lives.
Managing a group inbox to effectively receive and process requests for proposals for Life, Disability and Supplemental Health products for groups 50-99 lives.
Monitor RFP Inbox.
Scrub for completeness and route to appropriate team for rating.
Highlight plans for rating.
Interface with Broker/sales executives for questions/clarifications from initial data provided or additional data needed
Capturing the "in good order" of the case when broker comes back Declinations prior to rating.
Verify licensing & appointment of the Broker prior to submission.
Maintain case correspondences per Document Management Guidelines.
Customer/Broker.
Support other Sales Support personnel when out.
Attends and participates in all mandatory training, meetings, etc.
As appropriate route incoming inquiries to appropriate internal partners.
Project support as needed.
Requirements
Strong knowledge of Group Insurance terms, provisions and administration.
College degree preferred or equivalent experience with financial ratings preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly organized, detail oriented and able to manage multiple priorities at once;
Attention to detail-error free work
Ability to build rapport, and develop/maintain strong relationships with internal/external partners
Critical thinking: Proactively identify and anticipate needs.
Quick learner.
