About the role

  • Manager Sales at VfB Stuttgart focusing on developing strategic sponsorship partnerships. Engaging with businesses and promoting diverse VfB products within a flexible working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Acquisition of new sponsorship partnerships – You inspire companies to enter into partnerships and build long-term relationships
  • Upselling & expansion of existing client relationships – You identify potential and strategically develop existing customers
  • Promotion of our diverse VfB products – women’s football, e-sports, the registered club (e.V.), or the academy – You ensure our offerings are visible and attractive
  • Selling additional sponsorship services from the customer portfolio – You leverage our broad range of options to create tailored solutions for your clients
  • Independent networking & market analysis – You identify new industries and target groups to help shape the sponsorship market

Requirements

  • Experience in sales or sponsorship – You bring several years of professional experience in sales, preferably from the sports or media industry
  • Results-oriented sales mentality – You are dynamic, conscientious and enjoy winning new clients
  • Strong communication skills – You engage on equal footing and succeed in building sustainable relationships
  • Commitment, creative problem-solving & closing ability – You work proactively, think creatively and close deals confidently
  • Passion for sport – You understand the importance of sponsorship in professional sport and can convey that enthusiasm
