About the role

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of clients, ensuring strong and lasting relationships.
  • Understand client needs and provide consultative support in commodity derivatives and structured solutions.
  • Work closely with Portfolio Managers to design and implement risk management strategies.
  • Deliver presentations, market insights, and reports to clients, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams (Sales, Trading, Operations, Quant) to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Monitor client activity, performance, and satisfaction, proactively addressing issues or opportunities.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying cross-selling opportunities and new prospects.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of commodities, derivatives, and market trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Agronomic Engineering, Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Finance, or related field.
  • Master’s preferred.
  • Deep knowledge in commodity derivatives, especially in OTC derivatives.
  • Proven track record of consistent revenue generation in sales.
  • Proven track record of business development in derivatives sales.
  • 4–6 years of experience in relationship management, client advisory, or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of derivatives, commodities, and structured solutions.
  • Proficiency in commodity fundamental analysis as well as technical analysis.
  • Deep understanding of the sugar, coffee, and cocoa markets.
  • Fluency in English & Spanish.
  • Proficiency in Portuguese as a differential.
  • Availability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Good knowledge of the business culture of Latin American, and African companies.
