People & Talent Associate responsible for recruitment, onboarding, and culture-building at Zinc. Welcoming candidates and managing people & culture initiatives as the team grows.
Responsibilities
Welcoming interviewees and new starters - youβll be the friendly face of Zinc! π
Managing new starter set-up (laptops, benefits, systems access, etc.)
Assisting with offboarding when people move on
Acting as the first point of contact for day-to-day people queries πββοΈ
Helping to coordinate engagement initiatives, socials, and wellbeing activities π
Helping to shape and drive company culture with energy and positivity
Taking job briefings and writing standout job descriptions βοΈ
Sourcing candidates and building strong relationships
Booking interviews, managing rejections, and keeping communication proactive and human π¬
Negotiating offers and supporting hiring managers through the full process
Predicting blockers before they appear and solving people-based problems like a pro π§
Requirements
Exceptionally organised - you can keep track of many moving parts without dropping the ball
A natural communicator who loves connecting with people and solving problems
Empathetic and trustworthy, with excellent judgment and confidentiality
Culture-driven - you bring energy to every initiative and make Zinc a better place to work π
Experience with employer branding (especially on LinkedIn)
Familiarity with an HRIS system is a plus
