About the role

  • Own the employee lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, contracts, benefits, and HR systems
  • Coordinate inputs with our external payroll partner to keep things running smoothly
  • Be a first point of contact for people questions and manager support
  • Plan and deliver onboarding, events, and initiatives that strengthen culture and engagement
  • Keep our policies and processes clear, simple, and fit for a fast-growing startup
  • Track and share key people insights (e.g. engagement, retention) with leadership
  • Spot opportunities to simplify and improve how we work as we scale

Requirements

  • 2–4 years in People Ops, HR, or a similar role (startup/scale-up a plus)
  • Experience with HR administration and coordinating benefits
  • Organised and detail-focused
  • Comfortable working with HR systems and tools
  • Friendly, approachable communicator who enjoys supporting colleagues
  • Bonus Points For:
  • Experience working with external payroll or benefits partners
  • Event planning or employee engagement projects
  • Knowledge of both UK and US employment basics
  • Creative ideas for recognition, wellbeing, or employee experience
