About the role

  • Be the trusted point of contact for employees and managers for all HR-related matters
  • Be the People Business Partner for our people managers supporting them in organizational design, performance management, career development, team effectiveness, and coaching
  • Collaborate with our management teams to provide trusted guidance on day-to-day people topics and more complex HR cases
  • Drive improvements in our policies, procedures, and employee experience (HR handbook, benefits structure, performance review cycles)
  • Partner with People Ops on onboarding and relocation processes, overseeing quality and consistency for new hires and managers
  • Analyze people data and insights (e.g. engagement, turnover, performance) to identify trends and advise leaders
  • Work on organizational planning with managers, anticipating future team needs and building career paths
  • Support managers in building strong feedback cultures, handling employee relations, and navigating change
  • Work closely with the wider People team (talent acquisition, office management, people ops) to deliver cross-functional projects
  • Contribute to reinforcing values and culture, leading initiatives that strengthen inclusion, engagement, and connection across teams

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of progressive HR / People experience, with at least 3 years as a Business Partner
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field
  • Knowledge of Dutch labour law
  • Knowledge and experience in relocating new hires from outside of the Netherlands, including visa regulations and the 30% ruling
  • Experience working in an international environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with employees and management
  • Proficiency in office software and technologies, including HRIS systems
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, with strong attention to detail
  • A go-getter mentality, creativity and a passion for supporting people
  • Plus: Previous experience with technology start-ups and scale-ups
